Competition

Naga Worlds is coming up on Saturday, and it will be my first time competing since December. This competition will be my first one at Naga competing at the expert level, and Purple belt. Both of those are for belts and would be great additions to the trophy case. It has been 2 years since I started training, and one of the thing that I learned in those 2 years of training and competing, is that cutting weight isn’t that fun.

Past few weeks I have been floating around 135, and after cleaning up my diet a little bit, today I weighed in at 132.5. That is around where I am supposed to be, so I don’t have to stress about cutting weight the day before the tournament.  I have to make 129.9 for the Expert division and 154.9 for the purple belt, neither of which seem to be a problem considering I am almost there. I will start to up my water intake tommorow, to about 3 liters a day.

Today I ate 2 pieces of leftover sushi from Yama, 2 whole grain waffles dipped in Yama’s amazing secret recipe (not so)spicy sauce, and a glass of carrot juice for breakfast.

For a snack I ate a cup of apple sauce with 2 handfuls Kashi cereal.

For my second meal I will be eating Chicken & Shrimp with mixed vegetables from the chinese place with a dope diet menu. The chicken and vegetables are steamed, no additives or sauces are involved. Brown sauce on the side, and a few ounces of brown rice.

For the rest of the evening I will just snack on Brazil nuts, almonds, and fruits. Drinking a lot of water.

I will keep you posted on the rest of the weeks diet and my upcoming pre-competition training.

    Great strategy!!! Would not change a thing bro. If you did anything else, it would be to take fiber capsules from the drug store, over the counter. If you are competing on Saturday, take 7-10 capsules Thursday after noon about 5 pm with 8 ounces of water. Then take another 7-10 capsules Friday about 10 am and that should move about 2 lbs of you know what. You will smash them. Spin
